The world is simply chock full of resources for writers: at your library, in bookstores, and on line. Since you're sitting at your computer now, let's start with some on-line resources that will be of help particularly those geared to SF and fantasy. SFF Net, which hosts this course, has a wealth of links for writers. Podcasts on Writing: download excerpts from talks by writers at Odyssey Fantasy Writing Workshop—including my own lecture on story structure. SFWA Web site: the on-line resource center for the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America. It has model contracts, articles on the craft of writing. the business of writing, and agents; it also has information about the organization and how to subscribe to its excellent publication, The SFWA Bulletin, and more. The Market List is an on-line resource for SF/F writers, with extremely comprehensive information on markets, plus articles and other helpful info. Writing.com is an on-line collection of writing resources. Teen Writing at About.com: A huge collection of links to articles and writing resources. FictionHome has still more resources.
