SITE OPEN WHILE UNDER RENOVATION!
Current state: All content is up and usable! (But if you find any broken navigational links, please tell me!)
Formatting and general cleanup: Quick Launch and Hyperspace #1-6 in good shape. The rest still being updated, some pretty good, some still a little weird looking. Yeah, it's been like this for a while now; I just haven't had time to finish everything.
Please note: some pages use popup windows for examples, excerpts, etc. If your browser blocks popups, click the popup info bar to allow these pages.
Coming soon! Video interviews!
This Course Is Free
I'm Jeffrey A. Carver, and I'm a science fiction writer. I offer this course as a public service to aspiring writers. There is absolutely no charge, no registration, no nothing for using this course. It does not install adware, spyware, scumware or other plagues on your machine. I wouldn't know how to do that even if I wanted to.

Please don't steal the material and put it up on some other web site, or otherwise reproduce it. Brief quotes are fine, as long as you credit the source. If you'd like to print some of the pages for easy reference, that's fine. If you'd like to use them in a classroom, that's fine. And it's okay to use the story ideas—that's what they're here for. Any other form of reproduction, check with me.
Don't Ask Me to Review Your Work
I've given you what I can here. I hope it helps. I've included some ideas for finding or starting a writers' group to help you get feedback and support. But I'm trying to make a living. I can't take time to read your stories or find you a publisher. I like to hear from you, but I can't give personal advice. Click for more on this point.
Like Some Software Companies, I'm Shipping in Beta
This site is under construction and improvement. Think of it as being a beta version. Right now I'm cleaning up the html, but eventually I hope to add video clips, and who knows what else. Please send me your constructive feedback: mistakes, typos, broken links, etc., or suggestions on ways to improve the course. You can email me at jeff(at)writeSF.com.
